Nate Perry Productions

ABOUT ME!

Nate Perry was born and raised in small-town franklin, Pennsylvania. He started his music career by picking up his grandfathers guitar at the age of 6 years old and attempting to learn a few chords. From there he bought his own guitar and took lessons from various teachers in the area as to learn multiple styles of music. He soon became obsessed with the instrument, studying every little nuance about it and practicing upwards into 6 to 12 hours a day. When Nate was 16 Craig Kirwin, a family friend had heard that Nate had been working on becoming a professional guitarist and, not expecting much, he decided to check him out. He was very impressed by the hard rock lead work and songwriting Nate was doing and offered him a chance to come sit in on some recording sessions he was doing for a full length album up at Graphite Sound in Warren, Pennsylvania. As soon as this happened Nate fell in love with the entire music production side of the business. From starting with the arrangement and scratch tracks, to the editing and mixing, all the way up to mastering the final product. After a couple more years of honing his skills in guitar and audio engineering Nate decided to further his career by attending SAE Institute in Nashville at the age of 18. After a year in Nashville learning more about the trade, meeting important contacts, and practicing many more hours with guitar(Nashville players will do that to you!!!!) he went back to the Franklin area in an attempt to record some local talent and play live once again. Soon after getting back he set up his studio and formed the group Tilly Knows(later known as The Resurrection) with Stephen Hartman as lead vocalist and bassist and Nick Porter on the Drums. After a 2 year stint playing in Tilly Knows and recording bands he decided it was time to come back to Nashville, where he works as a professional guitarist and a freelance producer/engineer which leads us up to the present date. Nate's vision is to take an artists dream and make it into a reality. From the scratch tracks all the way up to mastering. From playing the simplest chords to the most complex shred guitar solos that you can imagine. Once you see the clients eyes light up and that big smile on their face it makes it all worth while!
